I was assuming coons, but I caught him in the process and it's a big *** opposum.

Seen too many coons with baylis. I hear they're good but I couldn't eat one.

I am with you and they seem to carry alot of diseases. Coons are actually cleaner animals that alot of the ones we normally eat (cows, hogs,ect) in the animal kingdom but I just can't mentally get over the fact I'm eating a coon. I hear they are a little greasy also and I don't even like dark meat chicken lol

I caught a couple coons at a apartment complex and the maintenance men skins and eats them
it may be a black thing but he told me try to one and said they were real good eatin

We used to sell them when I hunted in GA. Kill em, toss them on tailgate and drive slow thru the dark side of town. They were always real nice about it and actually learned our vehicles, and would run out to greet us when we drove up

I would even clean them if I wasn't heading to town for a while, but you had to leave a foot on for verification
