Well my normal squirrel woods are closed and I'm still playing catch up since I wasn't here most of the hunting season. I'm wanting to try some new place this weekend but I haven't been to Nassau before and only hunted Jennings years ago one time.

Anyone been in either of these two places and seen much in the way of tree rats?

Well, due to a new baby in the wife's family I'll be down around P.C. this weekend. I'll be hitting up Green Swamp Sat. and Sun. morning.

Haven't been in there in years but we used to find a few squirrels. I reckon I'll keep a few round balls in my pouch in case I see something bigger.

Went out Saturday morning. Got 6 but it took most of the day. They weren't out and about much. It was good to get back out to GS. Pretty dry though....

Six is not a bad for this late in the season, they get hammered hard during the Gen Gun. I've never been to the other WMA's you listed, but the swamp has some of the best squirrel hunting I've ever seen.

Yeah, it has been slow the last few times out. The "early" hunting at my other spots spoils me I guess. I will be going to Jennings this Sat. though if the weather is good. I figure I'm too close to not check it out. It's big enough, it out to have 1 or 2.
