We used to camp in Twin Ponds quite a bit. Almost every night we would hear them out behind the camp howling. We shot some tree rats once and took the guts out about 75 yards from camp and dumped them. The yotes actually came into camp that nite.

I went and bought an electronic call with a remote and set up back there in small game season. I learned something. you need to set up where you can see better, and they will circle down wind of you. I called one in, but it was 20 yards behind me when I saw it, and it had already busted me.

I quit hunting Croom because of the horse riders, hikers, joggers, bicyclers, and bird watchers.
