Anyone here every cleaned an armadillo? I would like to find out how.

More years back than I can remember I ate some armadillo that my brother in law fixed. It was white meat and some fine eating. There are bunches of them where I hunt and I won't kill anything unless it goes in the pot.

Thanks

I've done vivisections (animal autopsies) on them before. They are pretty easy to get into.
I haven't eaten any because of that whole "they carry and transmit leprosy" thing but I hear they are good eatin'.

Dang, I'd have to be mighty hungry to eat one of them ugly critters. I did see one get cleaned on Dual Survival one time though. I think a better use would be to shoot it and use it for gator bait. Now there's some fine eating!

Poor mans pork!

I have eaten it as a kid. No desire to eat one now as an adult just by the way they look. That and a possum. But dillers do have pretty meat (no pun intended)

youtube probably has an instructional video. i have a friend who has had cleaned them. he said it was better than pork. he also said he would only ever clean another one if he was starving. he said it was pretty nasty to clean. no experience with one so i would not know.
