That explains alot....
keep your friends close and your enemies closer. I guess thats what they see it as.
when I first became a LEO I was advised to use one thing when enforcing the law-COMMON SENSE. It is hard to do when one is a rookie because of ego-power-wanting to impress fellow officers. But I learned common sense will carry u a long ways. Lately some of the FWC officers seem to have that common sense ingredient home. they have been kind of smart azzy and act like they are above me. That was the main reason I asked the question on the forum instead to fwc. Now u say we have PETA members "guiding" our hunting experience. I will leave that for another topic discussion. Anyways, I will use my T/C pistol for hog hunting during small game. who has 'BAIL" money???
just got my answer from FWC online and am more confused now than before, you be the judges.
MY QUESTION: "does barrel length or having a pistol grip determine if a gun is a rifle or pistol? thank you."
THEIR ANSWER: "pistol (or any gun)is determined by it's overall length. "short barreled rifle" means a rifle having one or more barrels less than 16" in length and any weapon made from a rifle ( whether by alteration, modification,or otherwise)if such weapon as modified has an overall length of less than 26 inches. I hope this helps" LOL ARE THEY KIDDING? I think that defines what a short barreled rifle is but not what a pistol is, 26" with a 15" bbl seems like a damn big pistol to me. your thoughts?
lol....
