Hi Everyone!!

I just posted for the first time in the newby section, and introduced myself.

In a nut shell I just recently relocated back to Fl from TX.

I used to be a freak for snook & grouper fishing.

I used to fish mostly the Gandy and surrounding area.... I would also do a little tarpon fishing out of the causway bridge.... Now I want to learn about cockroach Bay, EG simmons, Skyway etc...

Any ideas or help regarding where does the white bait hide now as colder waters become previlant???
I know the gag groupers used to make their way into the skyway area as the water temps dip into the 60's & low 70's....
Is that still the same??

BTW: I have a 22' Pro-Line Deep V With 200HP, so I think I may not be able to get around everywhere in cockroach, but I'm installing a trolling motor tomorrow which should help... I think my boat has a draft of about 17"-20" of water....

THANKS FOR YOUR ADVISE & HELP!!
Ed
:cheers

I think we have someone here that fishes cockroach. He shoud have a better idea but that sound deep to me. They have 1/2 the skyway closed to fishing so boat's can get to the rock piles that on the east side.
