i know little about reloading but was really thinking about getting into it. i actually have my last four empty shell boxes of 30-06 ammo saved for reloading someday. the question i have is what should i get? is there a good everything you need kind of kit out there? and the cheaper the better for me because i am broke which is the reason i am considering reloading haha. and if there is no everything you need kit, then can you guys point me in the direction of literally everything i will need to start reloading?

Check this one out http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/default.aspx?productNumber=646599 the only thing I would change would be the scale , get a digital . You can get a digital scale for $ 50 -60 . RCBS , Lee also has several starter kits that are good . I use a Lyman single press and a Dillon 550 progressive .

Well when you say what should i get is a question of cost... first i recommend that you don't go to the most expensive items or even brand new items , because i've seen so many folks that get the best and newest on the market and then use it 2 or 3 times then leave it in the closet for years, and sell it for 1/3 what they paid... so that said for new you can go to midway or another place ,,, but if you start like i did , i went to e-bay,,first get a reloading manual, now this might be the newest , it is alway being updated,,,this tells you what load of powder for what bullet..next you need a scale..a small electronic that measures in grams will do...then.. get used stuff.. first i use a RCBS rock chucker jr. press, then for powder loader either a rcbs powder loader or a lee powder loader...then a set of Dies for what ever you are loading ie 30-06,9mm,300mag etc.. for pistol get carbide dies this way you won't have to lub the brass....you will need a tumbler to clean your brass...then a loading block to hold the brass, this will do for now but read up on reloading before you start, when you are set let me know if any questions come up, i will be glad to help.... remember the most important rule in reloading , do it without distractions, it could be dangerous... Be SAFE

Lee makes a nice beginners kit, for the money it is hard to beat. I had the Lee kit and I also had RCBS kit, both where good. Unless you did a lot of odd rounds then the lee is everything you need. The most imnportant thing is pay attention and be through in everything you do. DON'T MAKE MISTAKES. I know this personally very well, not to scare you but I misloaded and blew up a 7mm mag. I was ok but the gun was not as good. Thank goodness my Savage 111F held together. Make sure you always have accurate scales. PERIOD.
