Got this yesterday for making my own fishing weights and potentially bullets (I have some old bullet molds). I just got done paying 2 $ for a 4 oz slip sinker. Now to watch ebay for some old sinker and bullet molds. If some of you folks have any and are willing to part with them for a reasonable price, PM me.

Do you have a source for lead?

Back in the 70's and 80's my buddy and I used to spend days cast bullets from wheel weights.
We cast a lot of 45ACP bullets and 38 Specials using Lee's multi cavity molds. Cast, size, lube and some had to have gas cheeks crimped on. Back then we used to get wheel weights from tire shops real cheap or even free. We usually exchanged a case or beer for buckets of weights. We gave up when it was taking too much time away from shooting. Now cost of lead has reached high levels and a lot of wheel weights are made from zinc alloy.
