Saw a few yesterday. Didn't look like they'd been checked in a couple days, but with it being so dry, I'm not surprised. I did find it odd that a couple of scrapes that did look and smell to have been recently "serviced" (including freshly broken licking branches( didn't even have the pine straw cleaned out of the way much. Maybe it's because the area looks like it was wet not too long ago, but all the signs said fresh scrape, especially since there weren't any trees nearby big enough for a climber, and it wasn't in eyeshot of the main firebreak trail either.
seen some at my GA.lease this weekend...tried out a new sent combo and made a mock scrape in a area with no scrapes and when i checked this morning another scrape had been made about 10 feet away from the mock scrape
lol..he still out there...didn't see him but did see a good 8pt and some smaller bucks...seen 15 deer opening morning and 30 deer total from same stand in 5 hunts...grunted at the 8pt to get him out of the thick but his lil 4pt buddy was the only one to walk out....2 other members seen bucks chasing...1 was another good 8pt and he was with 5 does herding them thru a clear cut... rut on this prop. is 1st to 2nd week in nov... i'll be back up on the 3rd so i'll get him then hopefully

I found one fresh scrape and had one other by a bow-only stand of mine but it hasn't been freshened up in a week or so. The fresh one I found I put a stand within 60 yds of it so I could cover the oak hammock(acorns!), scrape, and rub line of a good buck. If you find a scrape in our club, you better hunt it as our bucks don't seem to make as many as in other places. I had 4+ bucks checking one scrape by my stand during last year's BP season.
