Passed a small doe,spike,and a big doe today. I'm holding out for a buck in my Brooksville spot for now,they aint going anywhere. The first doe was small and I thought the spike with her was her mama. I may have whacked him if I seen his head better. He was pretty good sized deer for being a spike.Little later a big ol' doe walked out about 12 yards away,I thought about it but kept thinking about a buck. My brother seen a nice 6 and a bunch of does,his stand is about 150 yards from mine.

Skunkie is your secret spot in bksvl south of 50 ? mine is north of 50 and mzl opens sat, but I heard the 6 pt I've been seeing just got taken out by a car, figures.
My spot is south of 50,it's in zone B. Archery just opened up last SAt. Everytime I sit in there I think one of them gooduns is gonna pop out. I have yet to draw on a deer or hog this bow season. I could have shot 4 does now. In my lease we can't kill does or spikes,here in Bville I just don't want to yet. The rut should start here pretty soon,but there's a lot of spotted fawns there so I'm wondering. Where I live it's on around Halloween. I'm heading to my club Fri afternoon and chuming them up for BP on Sat. Got about 3 bucks there scouted out. I'd like to get at least one of them.
