Good luck. That's a huge place and has the potential for some bruisers.

Don't bother hunting that bit north of Rodman Dam Rd south of the ditch. Me and my boy squirrel hunted that a couple weeks ago and saw practically nothing for deer sign.

I saw some sign over towards where the boundary road bangs a left and heads north. There's some nice oaks hammocks there and we stumbled on some rubs and scrapes.

LOTS of cattle there. Make sure you positively ID in low light...LOL!

I hope this helps some. I won't be there again until small game opens back up, maybe. I still don't know how they have those super high squirrel harvest numbers. I hardly saw anything. I may just stick with places that are closer.

I think most of the big bucks are killed on the East side back by the boys ranch and in the river swamp. I have seen some good buck sign along HWY 19 south of the main entrance road where ever there was a small cypress or wet pond.
