my 10yr old son got drawn for this wma for jan 25-29.is this a good place to hunt an when does the rut occur there??any info will be greatly appreciated,thanks

I have seen several nice deer there but not sure of rut there at all.

Rut is some where around Jan 17th and last a couple of weeks. There are some good deer on Pine log and most of the roads are in good shape. If you can get in early enough ahead of some of the other hunter's and find a food plot and set up on it. Other than the food plots any creek area is good. If I can help in away just PM me. I live about 15 miles from Pine log and our lease is about 3 miles south of it. God luck pcbfish
