Since you are on Eglin, the Jackson Guard (in Niceville on Hwy 85 just off 20)is the place to go as the above mentioned, pM me if you can't locate...they give you a map the size of a pickup and there you go, all ready to start scouting...BlackWater WMA is excellent also.

Eglin AFB is where I would start if I were you.

I've always done well at Perdidio WMA. It's west of Pensacola along the Alabama line. But, it is a total quota area and you can't get a permit for this season because they all got issued during the drawing.
