Missed a deer at about 6 yards last week....so ashamed..............doe fever i guess.
I shot way to the left, i drew back and put the front pin on her, said, your mine!!! :oops then forgot to look through the peep sight! lol. One lucky deer....
I missed two does last week... 🙁 ...
Never seen a buck in a stand before due to crappy lease locations and never shot a bow from a stand before also... of all deer a two inch spike pops out 20 feet from me and never saw him coming... I was shaking so bad with the fever and I couldn't even shot that one. But he jumped and took off as a doe came out and first shot .... Yep it struck.... 10 feet up in a tree!!!
All of that is what makes deer hunting the great sport it is.....anticipation, the shakes, the excitement, missed shots, and stories to tell.......all great stuff.
