This is definitely one of those "when I can" scenarios and I figured I would sit mid day because of the major hitting between 12 and 3. Just thought I would switch it up a little, the last couple of times I hunted the day of a full moon during gun, I would always hear shots between 10 and 2

Moon will be under foot at 1:33 ,and if you have time I say go for it.
If the moon was going to be full and over head during daylight I would take off work and hunt all day. Over head and under foot is the only thing I pay attention to other than ''when I have time''. And if its over head within an hour of sun rise/set I swear by it. Theres no doubt I have seen and killed more deer when hunting the peak moon positions but not so much the phases.

I say just hunt as often and as long as you can. They move around all the time. they don't have a rule that all deer must go to ground from 10am until 5pm. I got my biggest deer at 2pm. just hunt, hunt, hunt. what time is it? I say does anybody know what time it is? Its time to HUNT

It ended up being a good day, overcast with a good breeze kept the temps down. I ended up seeing 7 deer between 1 and 4. Had a large 4pt come in to 10 yards and sit there for 5 or 6 minutes. Dumb deer, came right in on my trail. He lived to see another day. Seen a couple of turkeys... swear they were the size of sand hill cranes.

I packed up at 4 to hang a new stand and prep a few feeders for this weekend. One of my members sat till dark and about 7:25 had this guy come in to 30 yards. He is being processed as I type this. 1st one of the season for our new camp. Glad someone is on the board.

Its rare for me to see hogs or deer during middle of the day.
I would guess about 95% of hogs and deer I've seen were between 30 minutes before to 90 minutes after sun rise or 90 minutes before to 30 minutes after sun set. Few times I did see them in middle of day were during dark/heavy overcast days or during rain. I don't think I've ever seem them in the middle of sunny day. However, my property doesn't have heavily wooded hammock... just sparse trees and palmetto palms with bushes.
