Just finished up my last day in the woods yesterday until the season opens. I am glad the work is done, I almost lost 2 members yesterday to the heat. They were done by 3:00 pm, I had to hang the last stand by myself, everyone went home. I got camera confirmation of the velvet starting to come off on August 6 and the buck sightings are way up. All of the big guys are starting to come around. The mowing is completed, the food plots are starting to show some life and our camp site is stocked with firewood, time to take 30 days off and relax.

It appears all 3 of those bucks are mature deer. Do y'all have a point rule on your lease and if so how long has it been in effect?

Our lease has been under a 5 pt rule or better for the last 3 years, we have only had control of the lease for the past year though. We learned our lesson from last year, this lease needs to be hunted hard during archery because after black powder season is over, no one seen much horn until early January.
