That makes the ol' heart beat! Maybe they'll stay close enough to watch the antler growth on the Moultrie.

We have a work weekend planned Aug 2-3. We are renting a 35 hp tractor, bushhog and disc to take care of the heavy work. We decided that everyone will be completed with stand/camera/feeder work by Aug 22, no one allowed in the woods after that until the opener.

About a month ago I drug my disc down in the woods and cleared me out a spot where I have a ladder stand. Didn't do anything other than disc, and cut a bunch of shooting lanes with plans to plant it labor day. I put this stand up last year but only sat it 2x the entire season. It's a little ridge between 2 ponds. I hung a camera on the dirt and had multiple bucks and does crossing back and forth. I swapped the card 2 weeks ago and when I checked it this trip I had multiple yotes on camera. Guess what, no deer. DOn't know if the deer changed their pattern, or if the yotes are in fact keeping them run off. Hope one of them sorry suckers will stand still for me. I almost want to shoot one of them as bad as I do a deer
