First doe down

Jay's first archery doe. He had the opportunity to shoot the doe after I missed her. I have not taken anything by bow yet and it wasn't going to happen yesterday either. I shot under her and she trotted off down the trail. She was nervous after my attempt. she came around the corner and stared him down at full draw. He took the shot and off she went, about 50 yards. Jay is a great tracker and I want to say it was a tough trail. She took a lot of turns and there were other deer moving around making noise. Don't give up, look high and low. Loss the blood trail twice, but kept at it. Finally there she was, bedded down in a little hole.
