I recently saw a doe with a spotted fawn, so the there is a trickle rut all the time like scout says above. The only thing I would add to scouts comments above is to work trails that are down wind of where does are feeding or their travel trails. I read where bucks will do this also to find those late season does.

I saw a fresh rub today on a tree app 12" in circumfrance that wasn't there on sat, and older rubs that have been freshened up recently like in the last 24-36 hrs. this was in homosassa on a wma that does not allow deer hunting. also got ftf with a doe at 20 yds, I see deer just about every time I go there and the hogs on the wma appear to be nocturnal & running over to swiftmud or private land as soon as the gates are unlocked.
