Have not had one slip because of heat but I guess it could happen!Usually if not set right the hair would have loosened long time ago!!

Is it shedding or slipping hair out?

A few hairs are falling out on their own, but if you touch the brisket hair it really comes out

My dad has a Wyoming pronghorn he shot in 1973, and it started losing hair anytime it was touched about 10 years ago.

We stopped touching it! 😆

Now that I think about it, I don't know where that mount ended up. When my mom died a few years ago, dad sold the house in Lakeland and moved to Englewood full time. He got rid of all his trophies and such, and I don't recall seeing the pronghorn down in Englewood. I ended up with one of his 8-point skull mounts, and some of his memorabilia from playing in the 1964 Pan Am Games (fastpitch softball - Clearwater Bombers). Hope somebody in the family got that pronghorn, it was a nice one.
