Nah no buggies off the road as the timber company freaks out if a pine tree is ran over. It's not like the Apalach NF with all the thinned mature pines that you can see through easily. It's mostly all slash pines meant to be used as pulp wood, so imagine briars and smaller pines so thick you can't hardly walk through them. The blocks they intend to collect pine straw out of are clean and don't hold many deer but once you run one in them with dogs they can fly through them, which is similar to the NF.

Yes and that's suppose to be where he came from but I have my doubts. There's plenty of nice bucks in the area but I have my suspicions as the buck weighed 198 lbs. Very few bucks no matter what age rarely weigh over 160 lbs and we've killed several in the 100 range that didn't weigh over 120lb.
Stupid QDM! They should have killed him 3 years ago!
I promise you I know they were trying to lol! he must have had a track like a doe to live that long. We can't kill them all as 1.5 yr old bucks.
