I find it funny that people bash mullet as an eating fish, but eat redfish like it is their last meal. Personally they have the same taste to me, and actually I like mullet better

I've ate a ton of mullet,fried and smoked. Never heard of them as a trash fish before.Helluva market for them down here.I have heard them called a poor mans trout though.You know what they say about Texas. Only two things come from there. lol

Even my grandson who thought fish came in stick form love's smoked mullet.

To each his own I guess. Now I know who to exclude from the Iluv2hunt's 1st annual mullet fry/bikini judging contest
