Headed out this morning and decided to try a new area were I placed a camera last week. I wasn't able to check the camera before hand but I placed it there due to the deer sign I saw. I headed out at 3:30am and arrived a 5am, loaded my climber on my back and headed into the woods. After about 20 mins of walking in circles I realized I wasn't going to find were I was looking for. So I picked a nice pine tree and hooked the stand to it. Then I dropped the upper part of the climber onto the lower part !!!!!!!!PING!!!!!!! :censored I was not happy at this point. I got situated and waited for the sun to raise. As it did I noticed I was only about two trees from were I wanted to be  Much happier at this point 😆 . At 7:15 I hear a little noise in front of me and out steps a doe. She looks my way and takes a deep breath. Busted! She starts to pick up her pace as she heads across the small clearing. I stand up and draw back, I let out a bah, nothing then another, nothing, at this point she is two steps away from disappearing into the palmettos. I let out a very loud BAHHHHHHHHH. She stopped and turned her head to look. THWACK 35 yard quartering away shot  She ran about 30 yards and I could hear her crash. I packed up and headed home. :toast: The biologist aged her to be 5 to 6 years old, her teeth were very worn. 93 pounds. After I was finished I checked the cam and had a bunch of pictures of her and some other deer. Turned out to be a nice spot.
