Alachua has some great deer. I've been trying to find a lease there for a couple years now.
That would be overall gross score of 180 could be depends on how they measured it.
Nice freaky buck, not 180 though.
A friend of mine saw a freaky buck (could be this same one actually) at the Hardees in Cross City on the back of a truck that the hunter who killed him was claiming he'd go 180 also. He "said" it was killed near the coast in front of a pack of beagles in one of those Dixie Co. clubs. My buddy said he seriously doubted it because the guy didn't have a dogbox and was missing any antennas or visible radios in the truck.
That is a great buck I dont care what he scores,and it dont matter if he grew it behind a fence or not,he still grew it. We are admiring the deer not necessarily the hunter or method of hunting it took to get him,as long as he wasnt poached I could care less.
