The video did not start all this mess,it was an attack on th USA on 9/11. The video is just an excuse.
I researched the difference between consulate and embassy. consulate much smaller and handles mundane items. there can be several in each country in assorted cities. The chief there is a consul(ate) who answers to higher authorities. Embassy is manned by an ambassador who actually represents the country they come from-state dept. Much larger facility and usually located in the capitol city of the country the're in. The embassy will usually have an armed security. So, as long as they attack a consulate, they will get the usual lip service from us. If they do an embassy, maybe-just maybe-the bad guys might get bit in the azz.
you have a good point there bps and I firmly believe in our freedoms but this is like yelling fire in a theater and people are dying. sure they have the right to make the film and the carriers have the right not to show it. someone needs to take some responsibility or be held accountable for their actions. if legal they are really pushing the envelope. imo it's been going on for them alot longer than 9/11, thats when it happened to us and opened all our eyes. bombs going off in Israel or some other middle east country is like a weekly event, maybe more frequently and has been going on for some time.
