Not that i'm a conspiracy theorist but. remember the election awhile back and recount had to be done on Florida's paper ballots?? how long did that take?? a few days. then problems were found with ballots and we became laughing stock of the nation. remember?? why did it take so long to recount and then find problems. We knew the same day (election day) who won. but yet the recount took several days. i beleive that for city, county and state, yes it is your vote that makes things happen. Presidential--that is a whole different thing. The delegates for the electoral college should vote as the voters in their areas do. the problems lies , when they don't. their is a middle who make think they know better, what YOU want. sorry for the ramblings. i'm part pollock--politics gets me fired up. lol especially now, with things the way they are.
Y'all make good points but the bottom line is this.
Those sent to DC to represent the will of the people have failed the people and need to be held accountable. They in no way voted the will of the people or at least the majority, they deliberately thumbed their noses at us.
It's no secret what the progressives have in mind for this country, and their support base are the the ones I see sitting on a milk crate or cinder block drinking a cold 32 as I'm driving by on my way to work EVERY DAY.
I agree with you, why should I take my VA disabled a$$ to work every day to EARN a living just so the libs can take it and give it to the lazy SOB's that won't even get up off the milk crate and try to do for him/her self? I don't want to take care of them, it's not my responsibility, it's simple, you don't work.......you starve....natures way of thinning out the herd period.
No one knows when but I believe a day of reckoning is coming, and it ain't gonna be pretty, but it is necessary. And all you have to do is look around and observe the the climate of tension, disgust, and hopelessness felt by the people toward the Federal Govt. Hell even the states are passing laws to thwart compliance with the Fed.
But IMO this is the result of keeping God out of our schools, courts and Government. This is what you get when you allow frivolous law suits, political correctness, and stop holding people accountable for their actions starting at childhood.
This my brothers is what you get when you live in an advanced civilized society..................they can keep it, I just want to go so far back in the woods that the IRS will be afraid to come lookin for me.
Anyway I see hope, Nov 2010 is one, and reading the sense that you....my friends... write, is another. It gives me comfort, lets me know I'm not alone in this Chaos, and for that I"m much obliged. Well there still argung about Bush vs. Gore.Just remember most city people are Libs and rural folks tend to be more Conservative.I wish we could have an Independent have a fair chance at being elected but in reality it will never happen in our lifetime. I am a prolife,gun totin',hard working,and believe marriage is between a man and a woman. Society lables me a conservative because of these core values.I believe most in Congress are crooks on both sides and need term limits.Look how many people loved Ross Perot,all he ended up doing was helping Bill Clinton get elected.
