When you do that, then compare Hitler's and Obama's style of giving speeches....its even more scary.

thats my point, hit nail on the head. Aint much differance between them and the :sheet that comes outa there DS :lips: We as Americans need to ban togeather and stand up and say NO.They or working on making this country into what it fought and founded ajainst.TYRANNY

In the perfect world this would be possible, but just look at the responses in this thread. Baboona got votes because people hated Bush period, NOT because he was good for this nation, not because he had any plan, not because voters took the time to read his books and really listen to this socialist SOB. They wanted to make history and vote in the first black man.....well now they can explain to their GREAT GREAT GREAT GREAT grandchildren that they may have to pay high high taxes BUT, their ancester's were part of a historic moment. McCain may not have been worth a :sheet and I personally think he lost his nads, BUT He sure wouldn't be bowing down and :lips: the :ahole of every wannabe leader of some little :sheet hole of a nation that wants to give this superpower a black eye, and he wouldn't have put us this deep in debt. IMHO the worst is yet to come and in the big league world we have a rookie in the white house with a Bafoon as a vice prez. God have mercy on us cuz we're gonna need all the blessings we can get. At least Israel is out in front and will take the steps to be a leader in the world while we just go deeper in debt with our all important social programs and killing the middle east terrorists with kindness. Like it or not the voters spoke and now were stuck with the bill, I can only hope his supporters get hurt the worst in this whole mess.

i dont agree with every thing he is doing. but once again i voted for the best i found at the time.....

But, if you were not completely 100% satisfied with Obama as a candidate, you could simply not have voted for him and left that part of the ballot blank. I've done that several times during a Presidential election. If I didn't like the candidates, I simply didn't vote. Anytime you vote for the lesser of 2 evils, you're electing an evil. Did you ever stop to think about that? Voting for someone just because you didn't like the other candidate isn't wise because it gives that person a huge amount of influence over all aspects of this country.

I'd also like to comment on your remark about the deficit under Bush. What you left out was when the deficit actually grew. That happened from 2006 to 2008 and that is exactly when the Democrats took control of Congress. It is Congress and not the President that controls the budget. Only Congress has the power to raise taxes, to spend taxes, to fund projects, to enter into treaties, to decide which government programs will be funded, and it is the responsibility of Congress to maintain a balanced budget, not the President.

None of that is within the President's control and it was only after Pelosi and Reid took control of Congress that the deficit grew. And guess what, they're still there and the deficit is still growing. Bush is long gone yet things continue to degrade. When are you going to accept that the blame belongs with the very party you admit putting in power? While you're correct in stating the deficit grew under Bush, you're pointing the finger of blame at the wrong person.

Didn't you ever take a Civics or Political Science class?
