What club you in in Dixie County??
I have a house in Steinhatchee. Sorta my home away from home
In Crane Bay, however I have hunted in Shired Island and California Swamp also.
Yeah that looks like it is right on the north side of Cross City. I was in a small private club years back that bordered Ramsey Bend. We had nothing but problems so I got out of that after one season. I was in Lafayette Hunt club for many years. When it folded up I got out of dog hunting for good. I still have some kinfolk that are in a few clubs up that way and still run dogs.
For now I stick to public land and I have a small 400 acre lease just south of Tallahassee that produces some good deer.
Ramsey Bend was a pretty good club from what I have heard, but don't really know anymore. I had friends that hunted Lafayette (god that lease was huge!) Now they are in the new one, I think it's called the Mayo Club.
As for hunting public land, good luck with that, I wouldn't hunt public land on a bet, to many people toting guns that have no business owning them.
