Hey folks, I live in Sarasota, a Florida native originally from the Plant City/Lakeland area. At one time or another I've fished from the power plant in Apollo Beach (caught my first red there when I was about 7) all the way down to Marco and the 10000 Islands. My Dad lives in Englewood on the water, so whenever I visit him we wet a line, sometimes take his boat out for some grouper, or catch snook and snapper from his dock.
Try to hunt a bit each season, usually for deer up in central Georgia.
I'm also an avid golfer. Not good, but avid!
I'm about 75% done with a home made pirogue I hope to finish before spring. Just got a few pieces to add, some sanding and then fiberglass/epoxy the outside and inner seams. I'm looking forward to throwing it in/on my truck and hitting the bays!
