There is a lot of good hunting between Destin and Tally/PC, we should all get together sometime. I have not deer or hog hunted in 20 years (need to buy a gun Savage 308 at Walmart less than $400)but would like to, have no idea about drawing or where the area is you are talking about. I would like to find a lease I could target shoot and hunt, have not found one that has dove and quail too. Fank :skeet

Most of the hunts fill on first draw , but there will be a few on the second draw which is the 20th. If you need any help with it give me a call I will try and walk you thru

Rad, I would love it but a 3 hr drive to my lease, I would rather be closer, Thanks though, any have dove and quail?
OK looked at the FWC site and looks like I need the Sportsman license if I want to hunt any WMA...Last year I hunted dove on a WMA site and had only the regular combo hunt fish license for $48 INSTEAD OF THE $89 ONE...OOPS FL is the most confusing place to hunt I have ever been.
To hunt public land, you need a hunting license and a management area permit. If you archery hunt, you need an archery stamp. If you muzzleloader hunt, you need a ML stamp. The sportsmans license covers everything hunting/fishing wise in the state of FL
OK, got it, so I could have gotten busted last year either of the 2 days I hunted dove on a WMA...all for a $30 mistake/not knowing. Now the migratory bird permit is only good so long, not the entire year, so that is why I waited till Oct to get my license last year...will need to check that out.
OK so after I get the sportsman license I can apply for the quota hunts, what if the hunts are too fa away and I don't even know the area...or...do you only apply for certain areas...sorry to seem so stupid on all this. Frank
