Hello All,
I have moved from Tucson, AZ to Hudson, FL last Feb (09) where I went BOW hunting for deer just before leaving AZ and caught the bug...I am looking for others to help me learn the proper ways of this life style :rockon and ensure I do things correctly and not "waste" things. If anyone is interested in having a tag-along, I would welcome the opportunity. I am not looking to leach of anyone and will fully support my own way. I currently own a bow and a slug gun...looking for a few other rifles to ensure I am ready for any season (large animal, shotgun, varmit gun)....
Any insight is always welcomed as well--
I noticed it is about time for small animal season-are squirels and other like animals good to eat? Any ideas on how to cook them?
Where can I learn how to skin/quarter what I kill? Skin rabbits/squirles/hogs/etc...?
Thanks again--look forward in learning the ways...
id be glad to show you how to skin and quarter and so on.. alot of people hunt chazz, and homosassa which are close to you.. so you will have no problem finding someone to hunt with! ill keep you in mind the next time i decide to head up that way to hunt.
Welcome to the site. :toast
Welcome! Quite a change from Tucson to Hudson! I lived in Tucson as a youngster back in the '70s. We hunted the mountains out east of Tucson towards Reddington and south of Davis-Monthan AFB. Killed my first rabbit, quail, dove and coyote out there.
I'll be seriously getting into archery this year myself, and I'm sure we'll be having some forum get-togethers to practice once season is over.
Welcome to the forum!
