North of Syracuse fort drum Watertown area. I have been here 11 years and hunted near big cypress just a little bit. I look forward to some trips

Cool, I was stationed at Fort Drum from early 1995 to mid 1997 and did alot of hunting around and on Fort Drum. Hunted alot down at "Tug Hill State Forest" where I missed the biggest 10 pt of my life (1996) at about 40 yards in a Hemlock Grove at Tug Hill. Bullet hit a limb and that was the end of that story! Tug Hill has probably the best Ruffed Grouse hunting I've ever experienced. Everytime we went we'd get our 4 or 6 bird limit..... Talk about fun...
