Got off work Tuesday morning at 6:00 am and decided to fish the discharge for snook. No snook were biting but the tarpon were going nuts, rolling and busting mullet all over the canal. Hooked one around 60 pounds got 4 good jumps out of him before he threw the lure. Retied and made a few more casts and hooked another one and this one bent the hook and it pulled. Didn't get any more hits after that which was ok cause the noseeums and skeeters were eatin me up. Not too bad for 30 minutes of fishing.

Winter time is alot better but even in the summer these canals still hold fish and since they repowered my plant thers not as much heat output so fishing is still decent
