I work at the plant in weedon island and have access to fish there and the one in tarpon springs. I've seen and caught some huge snook,reds,trout and goliaths.
Wait till the winter pompano run is on inside the tarpon power plant. Now that can be a zoo
I can fish inside the gates so I dont have to deal with all the people. Fishings alot better right by the outfall of the pumps.
i also am able to get in side the tarpon plant. i have been told that they will never let the water discharge temp get over i think 78F even in the summer that is why they had to build the new cooling towers.
I used to go mudding all the time right across the street from the Tarpon plant. Then the pasco sheriff put all that to an end. But it was a blast while it lasted
