Took my fiance fishing last night at the plant in tarpon springs she caught a 36" red. Her biggest red by far it was huge. I lost a decent snook. Pretty good for an hour of fishing. Anyone else ever fish the power plants?

The water in the discharge is pretty hot this time of year but there are still some fish around. In afew months it will be jam up when the temp drops.

We used to drive over from Brandon and fish near the power plant in Apollo Beach. I caught my first red there when I was about 6. He was just over 20 inches. Only fish we caught that day besides the 30 or 40 mullet my dad and his buddy caught in the cast net. I've loved catching reds ever since!
