no, thats not over by palma sola. the palma sola pond is one i have yet to try out. there are supposed to be a couple good spots over there. i know a couple of people fly fish the palma sola ponds and say they do pretty well. i have caught some nice fish over in that area. mostly at night. a few during the day. i caught my first topwater snook at the boat basin on palma sola, one to remember. usually lots of fingermullet around there.

Yeah, I used to hear about the Palma Sola ponds when I worked over in W. Bradenton off 63rd Street and Cortez. Never made it over there to fish, though.

these snook were pretty healthy. they eat well. as soon as the bait comes in with the tide, they blast it. lots of varieties of baits and predators.
