Yeah. My daughter is 7. She loves fishing...

GW- I used a few different things. The Gotchas worked ok, but you had to use the ones that were the size of the bait running. About 2 inches or so. I also used Clarks spoons in silver. They worked good.
The jig of the day was a 1.99 jig that I bought at Dick's. (no homo jokes guys! lol) That out fished everything. I don't know the name brand, but it was just sitting on the end of an aisle. I thought to myself, this should work good.

I tied it on a 3 foot leader and then put a two ounce weight above the swivel. That setup caught the most fish that day.

When the macks are feeding hard, they'll hit anything that flashes or makes bubbles! The guys that fished the pier up in Ft Walton Beach and Pensacola used to make a rig out of McDonald's straws and a clear bubble float. Something about the McDonald's straws made them the best to use, and the restaurants had to stop putting them out on the counter because folks were taking several handfuls at a time.
