Thanks for all the info. I'm all setup, now all i gotta do is find the shrimp. I've been hanging around the 192 causeway as its my backyard but the shrimp are not there yet. Each time i wanna head up to oak hill or titusville the wind is either blowing or the tide sucks.
I'll keep plugging away at it until i figure those little buggers out.

Yep, still one of the favored ways up along the panhandle. They seem to be more into dip netting here.

you can also build traps and hang them on seawalls, i was in cocoa beach a while back and one of the locals showed me how they put traps out, kind of like crab traps, just smaller. im sure you can google and find out whatever you need. i just put on wading boots and go out with a head lamp and net. its pretty simple.
