Not a whole lotta fish today. Lots of strong wing from the west. The beach was flat calm and hardly any wind at all as it was coming from our back, hit the dunes and vegetation, and must have redirected up. If you walked to the other side you were met with 30 mph wind.
Only had 1 whiting, 2 blow fish, 2 sand perch, and about 10 spot. Using real clam, fish bite clam/bloodworm, and some fresh cut up spot. As usual the big rod was out with half a spot on without a touch. Sharks must be hanging off the beach a bit as i've been trying for awhile without a nibble.
Coconut Point area of melbourne beach. If this wind ever dies down i'm gonna put the boat in the indian river for some trout, reds, and shrimp.
I was thinking of making a trip for a little beach fishing but I donlt think the surf is going to be down by my day's off.
Thanks for the report!
Good report thank you!
