Looking to go hunting my first time

You can go as a guest with someone. That stuff starts to get a little confusing and I dont really know the exact rules. I take one of my friends sometimes. He wants to start hunting and has already taken the course and just doesnt have a license. But thing is is that i was doin that during archery season and he doesnt have a bow so he would just sit there with me. I know thats legal though cause he doesnt have a weapon at all.

I appreciate it boss, ya it doesnt really say if im allowed to actually shot or am I just spectating...Ill probably end up just calling them or talking to FWC at a fishing expo.

That would be your best bet right there

I did my course about 3 weeks after my 16th birthday and bought my license that week. That would make sense though that you can buy your first one without the safety course

funny cause I DO have my hunter safety card. but forget it every time and get my license all the time. never entered the number.. everytime it says that you get one time and i say well i gotta drive back home and they say its ok dont worry about it.. i mean i do got it..
