done very good this season,, two 7pts-- two does--- 16 pigs ,, 10 of which i donated to a local church,, gave 3 to friends that really needed the meat. the best part was letting 8 or 9 lesser bucks walk, its amazing what you can learn by just watching instead of blasting. and all of this was done on the ground,, and both bucks and many of the pigs with a thermo-cig in my hand. now if i could just get a turkey to commit suicide this season coming it would cap a great season

My only disapointment is that I didn't get any does. I killed my second largest buck, and had some dogs turn on pretty good I thought wouldn't work out for me. I also realized one of my twins is obsessed with hunting like me.He actually shot bb's at a running hog last weekend.

captgeorge, I wish my season was like 1/10th as good as your's. Wife says the only way I'm gonna get a deer if it jumps out in front of my truck and commits suicide or decides to give up right in front of my stand.

nothing better than watching the young ones :clap :clap . one of the guys that hunts with us opens his gate on 130ac he owns for the kids in camp to go after their first hogs. taking three of them next sat, we take turns with each others kids for there first ones, because the stories they tell back at the camp are epic. they gain the chance to hunt by hunting with the parents and being taught the lessons the way the parents want them to learn. then they have the chance to show us what they have learned with no "parent pressure", and believe me every one of them TEACH us.
