Sounds good. Is it the 22 WMR model or 22 LR?

mine is labeled ruger all weather 77/22 wmrf. and don't expect it to be light it feels just like a reg rifle. and with the trigger job has the best trigger of any gun I own.

Where did you find a 10/22 in WMR? They aren't easy to come by. I think Marlin makes a great gun, kinda one of the sleeper brands. No bells and whistles just shoots great. I have 17HMR in a savage, and for the $100 it costs it shoots great. Just don't get a 17HMR, good for squirrels and that is about it.

My uncle picked up a 17HMR at Wally World 2 years ago. I'll tell you those guns have some Pop. He has killed 2 hogs with it. The gun drives tacks at 100yds, and will drop any hog with a well placed head shot. I prefer my Marlin 22mag. for hogs, and squirrel. it has a little more pop, and is just as arrcurate at 100yds. Recent hunt photos with both mentioned weapons.

Savage makes a nice rifle. My hornet is a Savage, and it shoots very tight groups. It's my truck gun so I'm not worried about it getting banged up or rusty.
