I'm lookin to pick up another 22 WMR, but I'm torn on which one. I'd REALLY like another Ruger, but my bank account don't. So, I was lookin at the Marlin 925. I hate to take that beautiful 10/22 Mag semi auto out in the woods. Might get it scratched up, and even though it's an awesome straight shooter, I was lookin for something I wouldn't feel so bad if it got wet or scratched. Lookin at the different ones, the 925 and the Savage 93G and the 93XP all look nice. I've shot all but the Marlin, so any opinions about which one would be appreciated. Thanks, all.

Can't speak for those specific models. But I do have a Marlin 882 ss (Stainless), and it is a tack driver. Got it at Wally World a few years back. Shooting the CCI ammo, it will shoot a 1.5" at 100 yards

Sounds good. Is it the 22 WMR model or 22 LR?

Remember that great father-in-law that got me the PSE Bowmadness in January this year? Same guy. Gun was actually an awesome deal. Some kid (mid twenties) needed money cus he got laid off, and sold it to him for $100, and now, well, it's mine! Lucky me! Mint original condition with a range finding scope (adjustable zoom that adjusts POI accurately out to 300 yards with no compensation). And, no. I ain't sellin it. But I ain't gonna drag it through the thick woods neither. It's a good weather, open area small game assassin gun.
