I am flat addicted to my mathews bow but I want to branch out on my rifle collection for shooting hogs and small game I own some 22s a winchester and a ruger 10/22 a 30-06 and a 12ga. I am think i would like either .243 or a 30-30 any sugestions. what you shooting and what do you like? i would appriciate your input. thanks
You can't go wrong with a 30-30, I have a 7MM Mag. I like it but it is a bit much. My next rifle will be a 30-30 or a nice 12ga slug gun.
shot a couple 7mags all had as much kick as my 30-06
you didn't realy specify. is the winchester a 22 cal? what type of shotgun?, how about an extra bbl or 2, one a 24" for turkey/buckshot/ rifled slugs, and another rifled bbl for sabot slugs with a scope, how about a 22mag, or a carbine length rifle, ruger 44 mag auto if you can find one or an ultra light short bbl'd bolt action in 243,308,7mm08, or maybe a nice pistol 45acp, 44mag s&w 4" bbl mountain pistol
You have all you need with what you listed. I've been hunting here my entire life and will guarantee you your 06 or shotgun are all that you will ever need. Unless less you can't shoot you'll be fine. Save your money for a rainy day.
