nobody should be in your stand without asking permission, thats my opinion

I have a friend that hunts during the week and I let him use my stand, he killed a hog next to it the other day. On the weekends I can use his stand if I want, but I usually sit in mine, its more comfortable.
1st part I would never use an unfamilar stand mainly for saftey reasons not knowing if everything is good.Next if someone took the time to place a stand I wont want to ruin the spot by me messing with it.But I would hunt the area if I found it was a good spot!
2nd part If they will not leave after being asked I think I would just walk around the area "looking" for a new place to sit until they get tired of me walking in "their"area.
Im not 100% sure of this but I was told that in Michigan the law is that ANY stand on public land becomes public proporty and my be used by anyone.
I catch anyone in one of my stands w/o my sayso and its S.S.S time
