This is why I don't hunt public land. Too much drama. Personally I don't think you should be able to leave a stand on public land, plus wouldn't you be worried that someone would just steal it. Those things are expensive.
i have ran into 90 percent cool hunters at the wmas i hunt at.. you can tell the buttheads by when you drive by they dont wave to you or give you the hello sign back.. they just give you a dirty look. the rest of the people are smiling and say hi when you drive by on the roads.
When I'm driving through Green Swamp I've never had someone not either wave first or wave back at me. Not so with Richloam. I guess it's cause i don't have dog cages in the back of my truck. They all glare at me like I'm doing donuts in their grandma's front yard.
Weird.
I know how to stop people from getting in your stand. I have some snake sheds that are 12 to 15 feet long. All you have to do is wrap it around your stand and people will think twice about getting into that stand. 😆
you can also put a sign on your stand thats says "stand under scoped watch" THen at the top of the stand by the seat put another sigh that says.. "smile your being scoped" They will mess with them big tyme. lol
