The API I have didn't like smaller trees unless you really start at an incline. Now I have a chain on it and it will hug tighter on the smaller trees. I love it.
sold my API,fell on me 2 times in one day. first time I fell out of it when botton went out while going down, second time it fell on top of me when bottom went out I went with it and top came down on top of me.just glad I wasnt up real high when it happened.Im done with climber gonna stick with my ladder stands.
You have to tie them together. Is that the first time you used one? I've had to shimmy down a few trees over the years. My brothe had one of them old Baker climbers fall on his head while setting it up,he got about 10 stitches.
