BOOM !!!!
HTF did you manage to fill it without the valve in it? whatever, start with an empty fuel cylinder, remove the valve and either pierce or remove that latex like center ( I use a small sharp drill bit, as the larger hole allows easier refill), then replace the valve ( press it into place) and I use a small bead of jb weld around the valve seal ( others do not) then fill about 3/4 full the same amount as new ones are full.can't see how you managed to fill it without the valve in place or having butane spraying all over. as for the bubbling mine don't. maybe it's overfull. use a paper clip or something to press in the center of the valve and release the extra pressure, some of the butane may squirt out at this time so don't smoke during this step. if we don't hear back from you we'll assume you blew yourself up. if you want to make out a will and leave me your guns before messing with it it'd be appreciated. good luck. btw I just got a 5$ rebate in a magazine for the earth scent refill pack 4- cartriges and 12 pads 22.95$ at the archery shop in tampa.
Did it hold fuel after you filled it? If so you did it right , I guess. Make a mark on the cylinder and check it tomorrow. I have yet to have one hold fuel after refilling so I just keep buying them
IT has been holding fuel so far. I left them in the garage in case they exploded. I am going hunting in the am but I don't have the balls to try one of them yet. I guess if they don't explode by lunch tomorrow they will be OK.
Puss
Light it up and see, don't wait to go hunting tie it to you belt then light it!!! LOL
