Snake boots or no snake boots

100% yes

I've pretty much given up on them. I am tired of wet feet. They ALL leak.

I now wear Muck boots and snake gaiters

I have never wore them, and do not like them. In 20 years of hunting Florida swamps I have never even came close to being bit. That I know of! Indians roamed these woods for thousands of years with out them. The white men were more dangerous than snakes. I would say it is a preference call.

I wear them and mine are waterproof up to this point (3 seasons). I wear them more for water then snakes though. I walk through alot of creeks and lowlands where a mid high boot would get flooded over the tongue. Mine are not insulated and when it gets cold I go back to a regualr insulated hunting boot.
