Hellbilly, I gotta agree sometimes I've been in brush so thick you didn't have room to raise a rifle to your shoulder, and would sling the rifle across chest and back and keep 45 in hand, but I realy only use that for ranges fom 0-25 feet or so. I find the 45 acp flatter and easier to pack on the hip. I'd like to try a bandolier for my redhawk, it's just too heavy for my hip, the 357 redhawk is actualy heavier than the 44 mag cuz the barrel and cylinder holes are thinner.

I just want the extra challenge of hunting them with a handgun. By no means am I expecting a handgun to out perform my shotgun or rifle. If they would allow me to hunt with a spear I would. And man I wish they would. Hunting hogs with my shotgun is cake work, just looking for a new adventure.
